A study on Saarinen Work
 The book, collects the results of a path that Matrix has started in 2002, in search of unknown projects designed by Eero Saarinen. Thanks to the searches carried out at the Yale University, to the visit of some buildings in which are still visible the original furnishings, to the encounter with the heirs of the author, Matrix have developed a plan that has allowed to give life to a collection of unknown products designed by Saarinen in the 50s, for the General Motors Technical Centre and the Vassar College.  In the same period it has contributed to the development of the plan of search “Eero Saarinen, shaping the future”, guaranteeing the support to the KDN Films productions, which cured the documentary projected inside the exhibition on the Saarinen’s works inaugurated in Helsinki in October 2006.     The pubblication has been introduced on the occasion of the exibition "Informality and Mass Production Design" happened in Milan at Systema3, during this year FuoriSalone. |
