Fairy Tales

Matrix brings to the Salone del Mobile 2007 the visual code of comics. Crossing generations and cultures, the comics’ world explores with Mangas new narratives and expressive opportunities, able to talk to a wide range of people.

The Storyboard

It’s a contemporary tale, showing us a young people’s story in their dimension, in a domestic and relates way. Characters busied in rewarded work and study, open minded, loving the contemporary taste and able to understand the house pleasure.

PETER is 30 years old, he works in the real estate branch and it gives him the passion for furnishes. He loves wearing young cloth with a vintage attention; he listens jazz music and “drum and bass”, he is a little bit shy even if he tries to get the more fun as he can.
He appears to us as a good guy, charming, well bred, with a mid-long blonde hair, bright eyes, a very young face with light marks, white and smooth skin.

CHIARA is almost 28 years old, she is going to get the degree in psychology, she loves wearing comfortable clothes during the week, without being a fashion victim; in special events, she wears jaunty good tasted dresses. Sometimes it comes from her look, her sharp’s nature.
She knows PETER, because they share the same passion: the research of particularly ancient object in the antique’s market. She comes from a good family, grown in good values, but she lives in a constant contrast with her parents, for her anarchy’s choices. She appears to us as a beautiful long-limbed girl, with long mid-curly dark-blonde hair. She loves enjoy, taking part to the fashion’s events in the city; she has got a good taste and she is engaged with DANIEL, who met at a friend’s party: since this night they started to know each others and then after two years, they decide to shake up.

DANIEL has got dark hair, and he is a very clean-cut guy, with sharp features. He moves into the city for working reasons (he lived in Swiss) and he deal about computers. His charm is in contrast to the PETER’s one; he has got an effective beauty, with a hard look, but really open mind to the people or situation.

The three friends hang around for almost one year (they met during an auction of ART NUVEAU’s objects), they are real united and they always spend hours together.
