Matrix International

In the first years of activity, Matrix addressed its production principally to the foreign market.
Since 1994 the company started distributing also in Italy, deciding to propose both “The classics of modern furniture” and a new production line, able to represent in a contemporary way the working and the techniques inherited from the heroic period of the industrial product.
 
For this reason Matrix decided to cooperate with StudioBau in Milan, which has created and has been creating for Matrix International srl a new line of products.
The new articles born of this cooperation have received several appreciations and awards both from well-known Interior Design Magazines and from ADI, Associazione per il Disegno Industriale (Industrial Design Association), during the ADI Design Index 2000, for the Chaise Longue "Curvilinea", at the XIX Premio Compasso d'Oro Exibition, Milan, Palazzo dell'Arte, October/November 2001.
